On some days my practise runs are fruitful.

In this case tape loops. In other cases interlocking the two rows of a Korg SQ1. Many of my tracker modules build on repetition - smaller sections are repeated many times with some slower minimal narrative on top. While a tracker pattern is usually 64 rows (and my Impulse Tracker modules had 128-row patterns), desktop and modular sequencers are much more limited - usually I get 16 steps, and for more I have to turn on my Digitakt. But I try not to. There's groove in interleaving loops of smaller length, which I eventually find, if I stick with it long enough.
