2019
#Normally I'd wish you Happy New Year though two things are striking:
- 2018 was emotionally wild. Not just that our collective sentiment was divided and exploited, but that this mechanic became obvious and backed by extreme "yeah, shrug, so what are you going to do about it?" arrogance. You can find examples of this at the top of UK and US politics, and at the top of global tech companies.
- 2019 feels like a continuation of 2018. While technically it is (duh), the feeling of a new start (from Winter Solstice) simply isn't there.
I'm taking part in #jamuary2019 on Instagram mainly as a feel-good therapy self-preservation irregular thing.
